Final Contenders Confirmed for the 2023 PUBG Mobile Global Championship in Istanbul

The stage is set for the grand showdown in Istanbul as the 2023 PUBG Mobile Global Championship gears up for its Grand Finals. The revealing of the 16 qualified teams ushers in the ultimate phase of the competition following the intense Survival and Last Chance Stages, with the finals scheduled to take place from December 8th to the 10th.

The competition's Survival Stage saw an electrifying run of 12 matches, bringing glory to eight teams that emerged victorious. Brazilian squad Influence Rage stood out with a commanding 112 points, setting the bar high for competitors. They were closely trailed by MadBulls and D'Xavier, who secured 104 and 100 points respectively. Despite a strong display on the stage, Korean favorites Dplus IKA didn't make it through, while sensations SEM9 from Malaysia and Indonesia's Alter Ego, alongside other teams, made notable strides, including some up-and-coming groups from India.

As the Grand Finals drew closer, the last chance stage became a battlefield where all 16 teams fought valiantly for the five remaining slots. Dominating this round, D'Xavier clinched victory in four out of twelve match-ups, matching their 100-point score from before. Hot on their heels were Persija Evo's 92 points, where RedFace stood out as the MVP, and FaZe Clan rounded off with 85 points.

The United Nations-backed IHC Esports succeeded with a stellar performance, while Yoodo Alliance carved out their spot by securing a tie for ninth in their last match, signaling a fond farewell to the competition stage. They will be joined by an array of teams, including iNCO Gaming and DukSan Esporting, as the championship comes to a thrilling conclusion.

The anticipation builds for the PMGC Grand Final in Istanbul, happening from the 28th to the 30th of December. The lineup boasts formidable teams such as D'Xavier, Persija Evo, and Faze Clan, along with IHC Esports and Yoodo Alliance. Other competitors include Loops, Alpha7, Stalwart Esports from Group Green, Nongshim RedForce Six Two Eight Morph Gorge Faction Red from Group Yellow, and 4Angry Men along with Team Unique. Additionally, last year's champions, S2G Esport, and the winner of the PEL, Titan Esport, secured their places in the Grand Final through direct invitations, promising a fierce battle for the championship crown.
